My Rocky Mountain National Park Artist In Residence Journey

I’m honored to share that I have been selected as one of the 2026 Artists-in-Residence for Rocky Mountain National Park. This year’s program includes six artists working in different mediums, and I’m grateful to be included for my work in photography and 3D tactile prints. The residency is a two-week summer program, and I’ll be in the park during my August residency creating new work inspired by the landscape, texture, sound, and spirit of this remarkable place.
As part of the residency, I’ll be leading two public programs in Rocky Mountain National Park: an interactive drop-in experience and a lecture-style presentation. The park’s Artist-in-Residence program includes both a public talk at Beaver Meadows Visitor Center and a family-friendly hands-on interactive program at Fall River Visitor Center, and I’m excited to share my approach to tactile photography, accessibility, and experiencing the landscape beyond sight. It is a real privilege to bring this work into one of our national parks, and I look forward to sharing more as August approaches.
Check back for updates on the programs I will be leading and my time in the park.
